Save money on your moble phone bill by looking at your existing contract. When does it expire? If you've had the phone more than the minimum term it is well worth trying your phone company to see if they'll offer you a better deal for the same (or less ) money.

Find out about other tarrifs you'd like to go on - even on other networks - and see if they'll match or better it to keep you as a customer. Many companies will! They'll also allow you to upgrade your mobile phone for free if you ask nicely - always well worth ringing and asking what they can do for you. After all as a contract customer you're worth money to them every month.

Also look at the free minutes you're allowed and make sure you're using them within the correct time frame. Its well worth looking to see what time your companys cheap rate starts else you might find yourself paying for calls when you needn't.

Make the most of your phone contract by using up your free minutes. If you don't always use them up - then consider dropping to a lower and therefore cheaper phone tarrif or going to PAYG.

Do you really need a mobile phone for general chatting?

Some people who don't have a home phone certainly do but if you have a home phone line too why not consider making calls on the home phone. That way you could probably reduce your contract phone to a payg saving you loads more.
